ABOUT
Founded in 2010, The Stamfords emerged from the punk rock scene with a sound reminiscent of Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Band of Horses, Fleet Foxes, and The Decemberists. Over the years, The Stamfords have developed a distinctive style that blends their punk roots with indie rock, creating music that is both raw and melodic.
Drawing inspiration from the atmospheric and dynamic performances of My Morning Jacket, the emotive and anthemic qualities of Band of Horses, the intricate harmonies of Fleet Foxes, and the storytelling prowess of The Decemberists, The Stamfords craft songs that resonate deeply with audiences. Their music weaves together elements of rock, Americana, and experimental sounds, resulting in a unique and captivating auditory experience.
